How Bambi’s Bakes looks after the personal information you share with us.
Who we are
Bambi’s Bakes is a small independent home bakery based in the UK, making cakes, biscuits and treats to order. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you order from us or get in touch, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you place an order or contact us, we collect the details needed to deal with your request: your name, email address, delivery address and the details of your order. We do not store your card or payment details. Payments are handled securely by our payment provider, and your card information is processed by them, not by us.
How we use your information
We use your information to take and fulfil your order, to keep you updated about that order, and to reply to any questions or enquiries you send us. With your consent, we may also send you occasional updates about new bakes, seasonal ranges and offers. You can ask us to stop these at any time.
Our lawful basis
We rely on performance of a contract to process the orders you place with us, as we need your information to make and deliver what you have ordered. Where we send you marketing updates, we rely on your consent, which you are free to withdraw whenever you like.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where it is needed to fulfil your order: with our delivery partner, Royal Mail, so that your bakes reach you, and with our payment provider so that payment can be taken securely. We never sell your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as we need it to handle your order and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, such as keeping records for tax purposes. After that, we securely delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.
