Returns & Refunds
Our bakes are fresh, made to order treats, so our returns policy works a little differently to most shops. Here is what you need to know, and how we will put things right if anything is not quite right with your order.
Fresh, made to order food
Because our bakes are fresh, made to order, perishable food, they are exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind return rights that apply to most online purchases. UK consumer law exempts perishable and made-to-order goods from these rights, which means we cannot accept returns or give refunds simply for a change of mind.
Every order is baked especially for you and cannot be resold, so we are unable to take it back once it has been made.
If something is wrong with your order
We take great care with every order, but if yours arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo. We will look into it straight away and put it right with a refund or a replacement.
Where you can, please keep the item and its packaging until we have been in touch, as this helps us see what went wrong and stop it happening again.
Cancelling an order
As everything is baked to order, we can only accept a cancellation before we have started making your order. If you need to cancel, please get in touch as soon as possible and we will let you know whether your order can still be stopped.
Once an order has been made or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled or refunded for a change of mind.
How to make a claim
To report a problem or ask for a refund or replacement, email us at amber@bambisbakes.com within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your order number and one or two clear photos of the item, so we can put things right for you quickly.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
If you have any questions about this policy, please get in touch at amber@bambisbakes.com and we will be happy to help.
